The Baby Sloth Co name has a very special and personal touch, the name originated from a cute nickname & inside joke between the Hubby (Josh) & Myself. 

It has since become the face and image behind my brand. 

Baby Sloth Co. will transition into a mission based company with the focus on aiding Animal Conservation. 

Baby Sloth Co. will donate a portion of proceeds from sales to an animal conservation group that focuses on Sloths & their endangered habitats starting in March of 2024

I'm Kayleen Cornwell, I am the creative force fueling Baby Sloth Co. 

SunGrown in the vibrant Bay Area of California, I started my journey of self-discovery and artistic exploration at a very early age. My younger years consisted of performing arts Dance, plays and other forms of creative exploration. I honed my creative talents at the well known Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I discovered my passion for photography, art, and the boundless sea of creative expression.

My career path has been a colorful one, with diverse experiences that have shaped me into who I am today. From caring for animals in the veterinary medical field, knowledge in cannabis manufacturing to orchestrating high-level executive operations and teams. I've embraced every opportunity for growth. I've even had the privilege of working with iconic names like Shoe Palace Corps, Nike/Jordan Brand, Outside Lands Music Festival, the San Francisco Giants. My work experience grew immensely supporting and growing many areas of these companies and brands. I mastered the skills it takes for running and coordinating high performing teams and various moving parts of a company.

The birth of this shop was a natural progression of my "if you can't find it in the store, just make it" mentality. Inspired by my own personal wants and needs, It's a place where I can share the crafty treasures I create while infusing each piece with the same passion and innovation that fuels my soul. My heart truly belongs to all things creative and artsy, as well as the freedom to create the life I dream of. Whether I'm immersed in crafting, capturing life's moments through a camera lens, or simply exploring my curious side through adventures, I find great joy in the world of creation, imagination and innovation.

Life, to me, is about embracing new experiences, taking risks, and putting yourself out there. It's about pursuing what sets your soul on fire. My hope is that through my journey and creations, I can inspire someone else to take a chance on themselves, to chase their dreams, and to create the life they truly want to live. 🚀
